Mother's Day during Shelter In Place.

Now that we are all in shelter in place we have to think ourselves how to utilize our time.  As I am at home and not working, there is not much of difference for me. I am more busy now as groups start to have activities more to keep the usual activities running.
Nowadays most of the young mothers are sort of complaining as their situations change. The children are at home doing on line classes, husbands are at home working and their hot lunch to be ready.  is completely changed, more responsibilities coming up. I hear their regular complaints and give my sympathy if needed. I don't blame them..
Out Sgi study meeting on 9th May performed through zoom. At least we could do it and see each other and listen to each other through the internet. My chanting keeps me peace of mind and I feel happy with the situations whatever it is. I am confident that my son in law, Louie Viseu's surgery for his tongue cancer will go smoothly on 5/12/20, as our SGI group also chanting for his smooth surgery and full recovery.

since it is nearly two months today 5/10/20 Mother's Day the Locked Down has become a part of our live all over USA. Well it is not only in USA it is also all over the world.

Mother's Day

But Mother's Day is always a special day, my grandson Lucas came with his partner Sean to wish Happy Mother's Day after getting dinner for for of us. Dinner of the  Day and breakfast for the next day (ordered from take out Restaurant in South Bay. We all sat at the backyard mostly in mask but eating cannot be accomplished with mask so said bye to it.
After drinks and snacks and having we good time together dinner was ready. As I  made my grandson's favorite dal (chana dal)
Sean's favorite Japanese nato I kept ready packed nicely for them to take home.  I am glad to see them happy as they carry all back to their place.  We were happy that they came over to see us and have dinner together. We were also so happy that they came showing their love and care of mom and grandma. Very happy that we all were able to be together at least for few hours. Call from Leon and Billy, also call from Dev and MJ all  to wish for Mother's Day.
Next day on Mother's Day, Jibesh and Rachna called and later Lata's phone to wish me and Shobha. Evening time we drove  to Kabul Kabab to get (our order on line) Chicken kabab and lamb biriyani . After dropping food to Pari and her kids we then proceeded to Emeryville near the water (picnic spots.) Though it was windy we enjoyed the view of sunset.

on Mother's Day.

After having our dinner, we hurried back to the parked car as it was too windy and cold. Anyway it was good drive as we wanted to have experience of the sunset view for a change. Happy Mother's Day.

Today being Monday Shobha and Lall started to work and I took out my laptop to enter what all happened during last two or three days. I came to know that Arvind is not feeling well since yesterday. I kept special prayer for him while I chanted for Louie for 45 minutes in the evening while 15 minutes in the morning. So one hour chanting for him I want to keep till he comes back home after surgery. At least for the month of May. After that 10 minutes for him until her gets better can
